National School of Administration of France and Council of Ministers of Bulgaria through a partnership with the Government Office of Lithuania are implementing Twinning Project „Strengthening the capacity of the Bulgarian government structures for monitoring and analysing major policy issues and designing coherent strategic solutions“, funded by the European Union.

The main objective of this Project is to strengthen the policy management and decision making capacity of the Government of Bulgaria, leading to better-planned, consistent and coordinated policies.

Project is divided into 4 components:

• Support to the Council of Ministers' Administration; 
• Support to the regional and local administrations; 
• Support the coordination between central and regional administrations;
• Training of the staff of the Council of Ministers and of other administrations.

The implementation of the project was started in April 2008, and will be finished in October 2009. Lithuanian partners play the leading role in implementation of the 1st Project Component (contacts: r.veckys@lrvk.lt; n.ciakiene@lrvk.lt )
