Today, in memory of the second anniversary of the Smolensk tragedy, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius has expressed his tribute:

"Time heals wounds, still it is very difficult to forget those who gave all their efforts, in dedication and love, to our common future. Today, as we mark the two years anniversary of the Smolensk tragedy, we remember President Lech Kaczynski – Lithuania‘s friend and colleague, and our hearts go to everyone lost in the tragedy that day. Their bright memory will remain with us forever."
