On Wednesday, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius condemned the attack and murder of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, by Islamists at the US Embassy in Benghazi, Libya.

"There cannot be any justification for brutal massacre of peaceful people, diplomats, in Libya. In this sad hour, Lithuania stands together with the United States and its people, and wishes strength and endurance for the families of the victims," – the Prime Minister conveyed his words of sympathy over the phone from China.
